US Airways Club at PHX - Food
Oatmeal to help with high cholesterol and fruit to fight off scurvy. If you try hard enough any lounge buffet can seem healthy.
Notes: The US Airways Club at Phoenix Sky Harbor Int’l is a long narrow hallway of a lounge. Seating is arranged mainly in rows that likely best suit solo business travelers and pairs. The tall bar tables seem to be the best bet for smaller groups and those who want to grab a quick drink from the bar or need a table to flip open the laptop.
Workstations are secluded far in the back and are only big enough for a small laptop, which is probably plenty for most but if you’re looking to collate documents or play paper football, you’ll have to wait till you get back to the office.

Wi-Fi: Yes/Complimentary.

Service: The staff on our visit spent most of their time trying to be useful to guests. Whether it was helping to get on another flight or making sense of the less than intuitive self-serve cappucino maker, customer service was on point here.

Convenience to gate: This lounge is close to B gates. US has additional clubs on the A concourse, but are not available to members of Priority Pass or other independent lounge access programs.

How I got in/Strategies: Priority Pass. If you’re not particularly loyal to a specific airline or don’t travel enough to justify the cost of a full lounge membership, I highly recommend joining. USAirways also offers day passes at a discounted rate when booking your flight.
